Recent rumors have claimed that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 7 series will come in a new “deep blue” color option, and new renders created by concept designer Martin Hajek give us an idea of what it could look like.
According to sources in Apple’s supply chain, this new color option could replace slate gray. It seems unlikely Apple would ditch such a popular model, unless the “deep blue” option is dark enough that it’s closer to black than blue.
That’s pretty much what we get from these gorgeous concept images of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in deep blue. The handsets are also imagined with Smart Connectors, redesigned antenna bands, dual cameras, and no headphone jack.
We still don’t know for sure that this deep blue color option will be available when Apple launches the iPhone 7 lineup this fall; it’s best to take claims from the supply chain with a pinch of salt until they’re confirmed.
But, based on these mockups, would you buy an iPhone 7 in deep blue?
